This easy recipe is for for my fellow coffee fans. It’s a simple recipe that combines the perfect amounts of coffee, milk and ice to create a delicious frozen drink. Skip the sugar and overly sweet additives and opt for a simpler frozen coffee at home.
I am a big fan of blended coffee drinks, but I find it difficult to order one at a coffee house that isn’t overly sweet. So many of these drinks are loaded with sugar and other flavors, and the coffee is barely recognizable.
My recipe for a blended frozen coffee is simple and straight forward. I’m sharing the perfect ratio of ingredients to create a delicious drink.

If you are a fan of coffee, without much else added to it, then this is the frozen drink for you. You can taste the coffee and it blends perfectly with just the right amount of milk and ice. Be sure to use a cold brewed coffee or make a strong cup of coffee and leave it in the refrigerator to cool before adding to this recipe.
Start with a good blender. I love my Ninja, it crushes ice like no other and makes perfect smoothies and frozen drinks. You don’t want chunks of ice in your frozen coffee.
This recipe calls for equal parts coffee and milk, and double that amount of ice. You can make a big batch and divide it among a group, or just make a single serving using the recipe below.

Blended Frozen Coffee
A perfect frozen coffee without any added sweeteners
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coffee - cold brew or cooled drip coffee
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a mug and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use premade cold brewed coffee for a rich and flavorful drink. Or brew a cup of coffee at home and leave it in the refrigerator to cool before using in this recipe.
This smooth frozen coffee is perfect to enjoy on a warm day. But, to be honest, I enjoy frozen drinks year round!
Pour it into a large mug and sip with a straw. The milk and coffee will begin to separate if it sits too long, just stir the drink with your straw between sips to combine the ingredients again.
