A little vodka knowlegde

Vodka has been around for ages, originating in eastern Europe and enjoyed in frigid climates. This spirit has since come to America and is now made in most regions of the world.

Vodka is meant to be clear, tasteless and versitle. Some varieties of premium spirits have notes of flavor but for the most part you want your vodka neutral.

Vodka can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. For the best taste, store your bottle in the freezer and take it out just before pouring your drinks.

Because vodka is neutral it can be combined with an endless list of mixers to create delicious cocktails. Read on for just a few examples of delicious vodka drinks.

Vodka and fruit juice

A few easy cocktails can be made with vodka, fruit juice and a little twist. Try the classic cosmopolitan that mixes cranberry juice, triple sec and vodka with a splash of lime. Make a screwdriver with just orange juice and vodka. You can also mix one of the following juices in a 1 to 3 ratio for a delicious drink. Try lime, grapefruit or lemonade from something refreshing.
